Art is relative. A definition of art that will satisfy everyone is probably impossible. The best definition that I have read and that I feel best puts meaning to art is found in Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary which says that art is " the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects.
